WHERE TO EAT IN SAMOSIR ISLAND AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS
Below is a list of a few of restaurants which scattered round Lake Toba region and Samosir island. Please note that the majority of the people live in this region are Christian, therefore many restaurants will serve dishes which are considered haram by the Muslims. However, there are many Batak Muslims live in this region, and for this reason you will also find some Halal Restaurants around the place. It's fairly easy to spot these restaurants as they would normally put up the "Halal Restaurant" sign in front of it.
